APRIL 2025

I spent about ten days in Italy, and it was a fabulous trip. I visited Milan and Bologna for my sister’s solo exhibition. In Milan, I participated in a tour of Leonardo da Vinci's “The Last Supper” at Santa Maria delle Grazie, and I was deeply moved to see it in person. My friend Mika, who lives in Trino, guided me around the city, and we enjoyed lunch at Blue Moon at an outdoor table, which created a memorable moment.

My sister is a contemporary artist who has been creating artwork for over thirty years. Although I could not attend the opening night, many people visited the gallery and had a wonderful time. I was excited to experience Italy, its cuisine, people, and architecture. The color of the buildings closely resembles that of my house in Tokyo.  I will return to Bologna sometime in the future.
